Iain has complete two jobs for me, one a simple dry stone facing wall and the other a more intricate raised patio area with curved walls and steps. Iain has rebuilt a 14 metre length of cotswold stone wall that collapsed due to last winter's severe frost conditions, and I suspect it's age as well! The end product is better than the original, looks very tidy and I'm quite sure will outlive me. We required a substantial front boundary wall and the natural choice was Cotswold stone which ties in with the surroundings of our historic village.The wall Iain constructed for us far exceeded our expectations and combined a traditional construction to last a lifetime with a modern twist to distinguish us from others. Working from dawn 'til dusk (and dealing admirably with the attention of passing village residents...) Iain's work was celebrated by all and we would unreservedly recommend Iain's services to anyone who requires dry stone walling.
